AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT HIRE

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE & SERVICE

​

Bookings

The hirer needs to be 18 years or older to hire our equipment or services.​ When booking online on our website, we will respond and send an invoice for payment prior to delivery day.

​

The invoice will have multiple payment options and links to accept Afterpay, Stripe (Mastercard/Visa) or direct credit into our bank account - Your booking will then be reserved with confirmation.

​

Full payment is required no later than 14 days before the event date.

​

Cancellations

​

Cancellations made more than 31 days before your event are fully refundable.

Cancellations made within 30 days of your event are non-refundable.
However, we offer free rescheduling if your new date is available, or full credit to use within 12 months.

 

 

Delivery Charges

​

$120 for deliveries within 30km of Greenhithe (Auckland)

$160 for deliveries within 40km of Greenhithe (Auckland)
Pricing includes delivery and pickup.

​

Delivery charges are additional and will be included in your invoice.

​

Delivery Hours
We offer deliveries between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM.
(Deliveries or pickups scheduled outside of these hours may incur an additional $50 fee to accommodate extended travel times and staffing requirements.)

For deliveries beyond 40km or outside of Auckland, please contact us directly to enquire about availability and pricing.

*Some smaller items are available for courier delivery, with shipping costs calculated individually and included in your invoice

Bond

A refundable bond is required for all hires and will be outlined in your invoice. To be eligible for a bond refund, all hired items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received.

Please note that our equipment is high-value and costly to replace. In the event of damage, loss, or theft, the hirer will be responsible for the replacement cost, as detailed below under Damage, Loss or Theft.

All equipment is thoroughly checked immediately following return. If any issues are identified, we will contact you within 12 hours to discuss the matter and determine the appropriate action based on the circumstances.

Damage, Loss or Theft

The hirer is responsible for reporting any damage, loss, or theft of equipment immediately during the hire period. In the event of damage or loss, the following replacement charges will apply and will be invoiced, with payment due within 7 days:

  • $500 per damaged or lost AV/Sound System or component

  • $300 per damaged or lost Microphone or component

  • $500 per damaged or lost Video Projector or lens

  • $1,000 per damaged Video Camera/Lighting package

  • $500 per Popcorn Machine, Hotdog Warmer, Gazebo, or other large party equipment

  • $250 per damaged or lost Game or component

  • $300 per damaged or lost IT Equipment

  • $200 per damaged or lost wireless headphone or transmitter

  • $50 per damaged or missing lead, adaptor, or accessory​

Disposal Charge for Damaged Equipment

If hired equipment is returned damaged and deemed unfit for future use, a disposal charge of $60 will also be invoiced.

Cleaning Fee

If equipment is returned in an excessively dirty condition, we reserve the right to apply a cleaning fee of $50, along with any additional costs required to restore the item to a hire-ready condition.

Privacy On Our Website

All your information is securely stored and your privacy is very safe and important and we only use well trusted hosting providers and do not sell your information to any marketing agencies etc.
